Diabetes Prevalence

Men and women from South India seems to be at higher risk of Diabetes.

Diabetes Or Hypertension

Northern states like Punjab and Delhi are at higher risk of hypertension, while Bihar and West Bengal are at higher risk of diabetes. States like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala score poorly on both diseases.

Tobacco Consumers

India is a large consumer of tobacco. From my personal experience this trend is much higher in rural areas compared to urban ones, where it almost seems normal to consume tobacco.
